Two months is WAY early to start trying to wean him. I don't recommend even trying until at least four months of age, and even then he may be five to seven months of age before he really starts eating hard foods. Also make yourself aware of the weaning process. It's not like you can just one day stop giving him formula and make him eat solid foods.
