I have a 9 month old female cockatiel in a spacious cage right now. June 1st, I will get a new cockatiel from a reputable breeder. It is a female bird too. Can you please explain to me how I can get both of them in the same cage without them fighting? I know I will have to quarantine the new bird for 30-60 days.

I’ve finished quarantining the latest addition to my family, our quaker parrot, so how should I formally introduce him to my cockatiel? They’re both still pretty young. The cockatiel is about four months old, and the quaker is three, incase that has anything to do with the situation…
P.S. They’ve crossed each other’s paths before, and lets just say, they’re not too fond of each other!
