I have read many times that the majority of a macaw’s diet should consist of pellets, and only like 10% of their diet should be nuts and fruit; however, neither one of my macaws (I have 2) will eat the pellets. I thought of soaking them in apple juice, but I don’t want them to consume too much sugar. Any suggestions?
